An American in Turkey

Jimmmmm!It's Kendra. So I finally found a free second in my band camp filled life to send you a message! First, I miss you! Dad's trying to get me to use the Northwestern application instead of the common app because he thinks they'll like me better that way even though the website specifically said "all applications are considered equally". But being the trusting man that Dad is, he thinks they're lying. I know he's trying to help but I need you to talk sense into him. Second, I'm not applying early decision anymore. I started reading up on all these other colleges and I just don't like the idea of being bound to one place. If I applied early decision and got in I would always want to be somewhere else rather than if I didn't and then chose Northwestern above the others, you know what I'm saying? Third, I'm around 50 pages away from finishing Dubliners which, so far, isn't as hard to read as you made it out to be. I understand most of it and what I don't understand I seek out in spark notes :). All in all, my first James Joyce experience has been top notch, I love his word choice, his discriptions are simply beautiful
and the stories are amazing. I hop e everything is going great there!
